Hi hi hello!!
Welcome to the knives for cats zone AKA the place where Noé's gonna post her shit now that cohost is gone. I didn't really know really know what to name this place but knives for cats is like my alt handle for things on the internet when I can't use celechii or don't want to, and I thought knivesforcats.online was funnier than anything celechii-related so here we are.
I don't know if I have a whole lot to say about cohost closing other than fuck man, it really sucks! I met a lot of really really sweet and cool people there, and honestly it really felt a lot like what 2016-2020 Twitter felt like to me. I was reaching out and making friends through commenting on people's posts, them were commenting on mine, keeping up to date with what people were working on and exploring tags... It was so nice and I really love and cherish all the friends I've made through it :) But NOW, we're doing it all through THIS web site. I'll miss you cohost and all the nice people on it!! (Please find me here)
I still crave human interaction despite how slow I am at replying to people so if you're reading this in the future where I've got some cursed comment section under posts then use that, but otherwise please send me your thoughts and opinions and scalding criticisms through one of the means on my about page!! Preferably via e-mail. I'll try to make a reply button that opens an e-mail like the one on Adam Le Doux's blog cause I think that's cute as hell.

Programming breakdowns/brainworms!
Recently I've been thinking about writing a bunch on the RNG tools I've been making for fighting game engine and also the inner workings of fighting game engine and writing things about my rollback netcode implementation! It's been frustrating me for a hot while that rollback is treated as this incredibly difficult arcane thing to implement, so I'm going to write about it so people can see you don't need to be a Rockstar Programmer™ to make it happen.

Aside from fighting game engine, I've also been slowly working on Dreamrealm Kingdom in my free time! It's gonna be a very stylish 2.5D 3rd person dark-souls-map-data inspired game cause I have such a strong urge to make a little character run around in a 3D environment and it's sooooo cool.

Art and crafts and physical projects!
I've been doing a bunch of different art things which has been really fun and exciting! Learning how to make linocut prints, making some 3D art via drawing on both sides of a bunch of broken glass with acrylic markers, and maybe also slowly getting back into making comics at long last. My big sappy gay romance heart has been in overdrive for like 5 months now and I want to pour it into outlets that other people can enjoy!

This one's pretty self-explanatory lmao. Nobody can shut me up except for the state if they're lucky. Get ready for thoughts on gender and video games and love and romance or whatever else comes across my mind.
The site styling+content here is still a WIP and I'm busy and gay as hell right now so I'll be making progress slowly but surely! I hope you're doing well wherever you are right now and I'm hyped to write some stuff for the internet and not for social media :) 💖
